PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

PSO 1
The graduates of this program will be able to meet the needs of public in the design and execution of quality construction work considering the health, safety, cultural, societal and environmental factors.
PSO 2
The graduates will analyze and design regular and complex structures having acquired the knowledge of building analysis software packages.
PSO 3
The graduates will be able to work effectively as an individual or in a team having acquired leadership skills and manage projects in multidisciplinary environment.

Academic Programs

The Civil Engineering Department offers a comprehensive undergraduate program leading to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, designed to provide a strong foundation in core civil engineering principles. Our curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, ensuring that students are equipped to solve complex engineering challenges in fields such as structural engineering, transportation, water resources, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering. Students are encouraged to engage in hands-on learning through laboratory work, design projects, and case studies.

Laboratories

The Civil Engineering Department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment that facilitate practical learning. These include labs for Geotechnical Engineering, fluid mechanics, soil mechanics, surveying, and concrete technology. The Engineering Programming Lab is designed to introduce students to fundamental programming concepts and enhance their problem-solving skills through hands-on coding experience. In this lab, students gain proficiency in various programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and more.
